Bug Fixes
After a lot of hard work creating tons of new content, we decided it was time to do some house cleaning! This update is all about polishing the game. Between conferences and events, we took the time to make Dungeons & Drivers even faster, more responsive, and better looking!
Here’s what’s new in this version:
New Upgrade System
Dungeons & Drivers is a game built around speed, and we don’t want players constantly stopping to spend their level-up points. That’s why we designed a less intrusive upgrade system. Now, upgrade choices appear minimized at the corner of the screen. Just press L1 / U to expand them and quickly select your next upgrade without taking your eyes off the road.
New Weapons
The orc forge has been hotter than usual lately, and we got our hands on two brand-new toys!
| Steam post image | JawSlinga: A rapid-fire crossbow that spits bolts like an insatiable predator, piercing through anything in its path. Forged by goblins, perfected by orcs, and feared by anyone with a shred of sanity. |
|---|---|
| Steam post image | BOOMerang: Imagine combining the deadly precision of a boomerang, the sharp edge of a blade, and the devastating power of dynamite. The BOOMerang is exactly that… and a little more chaos than you bargained for. |
Explore your unlock tree to find these deadly treasures. Use them recklessly.
Pause Feature
Ever imagined playing an ONLINE game that you can actually PAUSE?! Crazy, right? Heh, jokes aside, this highly requested feature is finally here! You can now pause the game during matches. Inside the pause menu, you can calmly choose upgrades, check your stats, adjust game settings, or even quit a match if needed (you’ll keep all points earned up to that point).
Art Updates
We’ve upgraded our graphics engine! Our Dungeons & Drivers art team is constantly working to deliver the best visuals. With this update, the game looks sharper, runs smoother, and opens the door for even more improvements in the future. Stay tuned—there’s more to come!
Optimization
We’ve combed through multiple game systems to improve overall performance!
Balance Changes
We’re always fine-tuning the game’s balance, and this version brings the following adjustments:
Adjusted XP progression: Higher levels now require a bit more XP to reach.
Enemy difficulty curve tweaked: Enemies are now slightly more challenging. We also rebalanced multiplayer scaling based on player count.
Shadow Element nerf: It was multiplying damage more than intended, throwing off balance.
Ïsel’s Abomination is now tougher: Look for the red crystals and give it a try =).
Bug Fixes
Fixed issues with player knockback on enemies—it wasn’t pushing them in the correct direction.
Adjusted the duration of certain visual effects.
