Here are the release notes for Update 77.2, released on Thursday, January 22nd, 2026.

News and Notes:

• Bosses and Raid Bosses are now immune to most movement speed reduction debuffs that they were not already immune to, to prevent issues it can cause with quest progression.

• Symphony of the Fey: If a music note spawns near the edge of water and its spawned enemies fall into deep water they will now self-terminate, allowing you to claim the mote once other mote enemies are defeated.

• The end chest in The Chill of Ravenloft raid "Relentless" now generates the proper amount of loot to all participants.

• Mists of Ravenloft Ultimate Edition owners can now claim the Barovian Mist Weapon Aura from Rex'nall, the Mists of Ravenloft Cosmetic NPC in the Eberron Hall of Heroes.

• The Chill of Ravenloft's Guest Pass now properly accessed The Chill of Ravenloft.

• Ghost Worlds

  • The Ghost worlds will now provide more feedback to users to remind them that they are on a Ghost World, such as giving an alert when you attempt to interact with the mailbox, auctions, or quests and displaying "Ghost World" at the top of the character selection screen.

  • Characters who were still on the beach on a Ghost World should now be able to get through the Grotto quest

  • It is no longer possible to create brand new characters on a Ghost World
