Ducks Can Drive changes
Thank you all for the positive feedback on v2.00, and all the good suggestions. Here are the patch notes for version 2.01:
A new dark mode which can be enabled in settings. This changes the in-game view to be night time, and the UI to be dark.
The duck now sways when turning once again
Players will now preemptively have their position set before loading into the city, to avoid issues with unstable collisions on loading of players
Players will be reset to the correct position when sent to the blue void
Controller is now partially supported! You may still need a mouse to control some UI elements, and is not as fully tested as mouse and keyboard. Expect full controller support soon.
You can now set the amount of rounds up to 99 if you really want to
Unfortunately some ideas are still in development as they still have some issues that I need to fix. However, so far, these ideas do give a lot of life to the game. Current ideas in development include: a minimap, different camera angles and wheel support.
As for other things to look forward to, new tracks and a new city is coming soon, along with an overhauled upgrade/customisation system.
I will be taking a short week break on the game, so expect v2.02 on the last week of July.
