HUD & Miasma Visual Improvements

We’ve released a new update for the Dryad demo, focusing on visual clarity, feedback, and overall polish.

🖥️ HUD Updates

  • Refreshed overall HUD visuals and completed a full font pass

  • Island Stats now animate and flash to indicate issues

  • Energy Bar now lights up when full

  • Dryad Health Bar reacts dynamically to damage

  • Updated Wisp portrait and stat display to better showcase Relic properties

  • Added navigation instructions to the Relic Window

  • Improved Relic selection highlights

  • Added color-coded Relic tabs

🌫️ Miasma Visual Improvements

  • Reworked soft and hard miasma visuals

  • Added animated wavy edges for a more dynamic look

  • Updated miasma textures

  • Added streak effects when the Wisp moves through miasma

  • Additional improvements coming soon

🌀 Wisp Movement

  • Reduced edge sliding by adjusting Wisp collider (Edge radius: 0.25 → 0.05)

  • Improved recoil consistency when bashing tiles

    • Easier to aim and break specific tiles

🧩 Miscellaneous

  • Added “Controller Recommended” graphic to the main screen

  • Reduced cost of High Yield

  • Swapped positions of High Yield and Lightweight

  • Reworked Duelist Oath

  • Fixed an issue where Doors did not appear correctly in inventory
