Drowning Ashes changes
Early Access is only 10 days away, and a new demo version is live to keep you busy in the meantime! There's a quite a bit of new stuff to explore:
Revised Character Selection
The character selection menu has been updated with a new section, which hints at a little more of what you can expect from the story in the full game.
2 New Explorable Maps
The Ruined Aqueduct has been significantly expanded, allowing you to explore two new maps complete with new items to loot, new fiends to fight and recruit, and even new minibosses.
New NPC Questline
There's a new NPC waiting to meet you, with some... unusual requests.
Expanded Reserves
You can now store twice as many fiends in your reserve, so there's been a better time to get out there and recruit some new allies!
Bugs, Typos & Miscellaneous Fixes
As usual, we've also fixed a bunch of smaller issues. Notably this time around, a few typos and pots that weren't breaking correctly.
Regarding Demo Save Files
With Early Access just around the corner, we felt it might be a good idea to clarify whether demo save files will carry over to the Early Access version. The answer, sadly, is no. Or rather, we can't guarantee that it will work properly on day one of Early Access. We are looking into whether it's possible to carry demo saves over, but it won't be supported in the initial Early Access release.
But don't worry, Early Access will bring a ton of new content, including 3 new playable classes, so there will be plenty of good reasons to start a fresh save!
We hope you enjoy the update to the demo, and we can't wait to see you in the ruins of the Capital when Early Access goes live!
Until next time... may your adventures in the Capital be Glorious!
