I made Sound Effect for my Game!

This week, I worked on the sound design for the game! I used some free online sound libraries (like Pixabay and Mixkit), and for the sounds I couldn’t find, I recorded them myself.

This week, I worked on the sound design for the game!

I used some free online sound libraries (like Pixabay and Mixkit), and for the sounds I couldn’t find, I recorded them myself.

Then, I edited everything in Audacity — combining and tweaking different samples until I got the result I wanted.

It’s always surprising how, once you pair certain sounds with visuals, they can feel like something completely different.

I also had fun making a few super simple jingles on BeepBox — like a little victory fanfare.
