General Changes & Fixes

  • Auras and traits are now disabled when a player is exhausted. This has long been an issue and allowed things like aura stacking to circumvent Exhausted. Actions based passives are not disabled (eg. Get Bonus Pass on offensive rebounding/steal/miss, etc).

  • Fixed and issue where MMR was not updating at the correct interval.

  • Most Exploit (debuff) themed players received an extra passive. Either Match Start: Give opponent 1 Tier 2 Defensive Debuff or Match Start: Give opponent 1 Tier 2 Offensive Debuff.

New Ladder Season

The ladder ranks have been reset. All players are pushed back one division compared to their rank at the end of the season:

  • All Star -> Diamond 5

  • Diamond -> Gold 5

  • Gold -> Silver 5

  • Silver -> Bronze 5

  • Bronze -> Bronze 5

When playing in the new seasons you will earn all rewards from the lower divisions after playing one match.

Skill Changes

Clog the Paint now gives 3P CHANCE DOWN I to all players instead of just SKL, SPD & STR players.

Developer Comments: Not applying to everyone simply did not make sense. Now it can reliably be incorporated into the self debuff/anti debuff archetype.

Dariuz Garlanb Cohesive Play now gives Bonus Shots to Skill teammates and Bonus Passes to Strength teammates (reversed from how it was previously).

Benn Simonz Offense decreased from 35 to 25. Defense decreased from 83 to 73. Rebounding decreased from 57 to 51. Playmaking decreased from 74 to 66. Stamina decreased from 80 to 70. Steal decreased from 12 to 9.

Developer Comments: The arguably best player in the world at the moment is simply not performing similarly in our game. This changes attempt to make Jokeric more useful and hopefully find his way in the meta. We are considering giving him Garlanb's passive kit for the new season, and reworking Garlanb.

Jammal Murry Removed skill Backdoor Pass. Added skill Find the Open Man. Number of passes remains unchanged at 5.

Khawai Lenard Salary decreased from 39 to 37. Defense decreased from 83 to 81. 3 Point Chance increased from 15 to 20 Shot count for Mastered Midrange Shots increased from 4 to 5. Removed skill Dribble Penetration. Added skill Defensive Mismatch.

Developer Comments: A player we consider to be very solid is not seeing much play. To address this we added a movement skill which we think will do wonders as it allows to target a specific opponent to enable his meter on opponent miss passive. To compensate for losing the second shooting skill we buffed his base shooting skills.

Jimmi Buttler Shot count for Catch Up Shots decreased from 5 to 4.

Chriz Paull Offense decreased from 55 to 53. Defense decreased from 67 to 62. Playmaking decreased from 79 to 73.

Kevyn Dureant Offense decreased from 86 to 82. Increased shot count for Drive & Press from 4 to 5. Added passive Match Start: Give all opponents 1 random Tier 1 Debuff for 2 turns. Q4 passive changed to Give your team +20 TURN METER.

Developer Comments: We split Dureant's Q4 passive into two effect. The turn meter part remains in Q4, while the previous buff turns into a debuff and is applied at match start.

Devon Bookr Removed skill Efficient Shots. Added skill Drive & Press. Shot count remains 5. Added passive Match Start: Give opponent 1 Tier 2 Defensive Debuff.

Iulius Randl Special aura now gives +40 REBOUNDING instead of +30 REBOUNDING & +10 PLAYMAKING.

Paull Jeorge Villain or Hero change into Get a random tier 1 buff or debuff for each attribute for 2 turns. Shoot 7..

Developer Comments: The previous version of the skill gave 6 complete random effects from the entire pool. This caused overlaps sometimes, or effects such as counter attack, which denied Jeorge's high defense. The new version retains the same villain or hero flavor, but is more consistent.

Zack Laviene Salary increased from 26 to 30.

Developer Comments: Zack's kit is nice, but his low cost allowed a bit too much freedom in deck creation, amplifying his power level. This nerf should bring him more in line, and force people to be more creative with how they use him (*cough*mismatch deck*cough*).
