Update v0.4.0: Ranked mode, Private Lobbies & 57 New Cards

Ranked Mode

Ranked mode is finally here! Here is how it works.

There are 5 divisions: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and All-Star. The first four divisions consist of 5 sub divisions each.

Winning a match grants you a star for the current division rank. Winning a match while having 3 stars promotes you to a higher rank/division. Winning consecutive matches grants an extra star, up to the Gold division.

You cannot de demoted once you reach a division. Eg. You cannot go back to Silver after reaching Gold.

When reaching the All-Star division, your MMR rank on the global leader board is displayed instead.

Private Lobbies

You can now play against other players in dedicated lobbies. To do this, both players have to go to the Private tab from Play and select a deck.

Both players must enter the same lobby name, then select play to be matched against each other.

Effect Changes

Block UP changed from +3/7/14/21% to +2/5/10/15%. Block DOWN changed from -3/7/14/21% to -2/5/10/15%.

Steal UP changed from +3/7/14/21% to +2/5/10/15%. Steal DOWN changed from -3/7/14/21% to -2/5/10/15%.

3P Chance UP changed from +10/20/40/60% to +5/10/20/30%. 3P Chance DOWN changed from -10/20/40/60% to -5/10/20/30%.

Other Changes & Fixes

• Defensive rebound multiplier changed from 2 to 3. Players on defense have their rebounding multiplied by 3. Our current average offensive rebounding is around 33%. With this change we will get it closer to what it is in real life, at around 25%.

• The "Vs Player" tab in the play menu has been replaced with "Ranked". Playing unranked is now done from the "Practice" menu, which now has a toggle for enabling play against the AI.

• Self buff/debuff skills now last for 2 turns instead of 1. Affects the following skills: Dirty Play (self debuff Aggressive), Lock Opponent, Unfair Draw Charge, Use Multiple Screens, Double Team, Help Defender, Off-Ball Screen, Setplay: Elbow Eagle, Setplay: Side 2 Chase, Setplay: Double Hammer, Formation: Loose Man-on-Man, Formation: 2-1-2 Zone, Defend the Basket, Formation: Hedge All, Formation: Triangle and 2, Setplay: Stretch All, Perimeter Close In.
