  • Gameplay
addedCombat between NPCs, animals, and monsters was not implemented before because I was focusing on peacefully living inside the settlement. With build 79, NPCs will automatically attack non-prey animals and monsters that get near. Hostile animals and monsters will attack any NPCs they detect. What this means for gameplay is that the player can now lead hostile creatures into settlements to get the guards to kill them. The player can butcher the dead creature and loot the bodies of the dead guards. Combat between player-controlled characters and NPCs is not yet allowed, as I want to work more on the crime systems before I allow the player to attack NPCs.
