Hi, I'm Hyoga the Juggling Dragon.

Before I announce the release, check out this photo!

Steam post imageI went to Okinawa Prefecture—Japan’s southernmost prefecture—in October 2025 (which was “last year” when I’m writing this). The sky and sea in the photo are beautiful, aren’t they!

Since Okinawa is so far south in Japan, it was still really hot even though it was already fall in Hamamatsu. But I had a blast!

After I got back to Hamamatsu, I missed Okinawa so much that I opened RPG Maker to recreate the place and reminisce.

Then, all of a sudden, I felt like making a puzzle too, so I decided to add one.

So, this time I’ve added 40 puzzles.

“DragonMirroreD” was originally released under a different name before it became “DragonMirroreD.” At first, there were 99 puzzles, and with each update, the number increased—130, 200, 220, 326…—and by the time ‘DragonMirroreD’ was released on Steam, there were 360 (plus alpha) puzzles.

This marks the first time puzzles have been added since “DragonMirroreD” was released on Steam.

New Gimmicks

This update adds two new gimmicks.

Since both gimmicks are explained in detail within the game, I’ll only introduce one of them here.

In “DragonMirrored,” the items you need to collect are called “Crystals,” and until now, there were five different colors.

With this update, a new type of crystal makes its debut.

Here it is: the purple crystal.

Purple crystals have star symbols with varying numbers of stars on their surface.

You can collect them in ascending order. For example, if you pick up a one-star crystal, the two-star crystal—which was previously black—will turn purple.

At this point, you cannot pick up crystals with more stars than that, nor can you stand on them like you would on an obstacle.

Of course, there are also puzzles where you’ll need to use the fact that “crystals with more stars act as obstacles” to clear the level.

Stay tuned for the update.
