addedArmory Boss Receives the Nerf HammerWe had originally designed the Armory Boss to be a challenging but rewarding boss encounter inspired by some of our favorite boss moments from games like Cuphead and World of Warcraft. Unfortunately, a repeated adjective we heard from our demo players was "this boss is unfair." We implemented three specific nerfs in an attempt to retain the core flavor and mechanics of the fight but move the needle closer towards fairness. We'll let experienced players try to figure out what the nerfs are....and if you are new to the fight, we hope this version of the boss proves challenging and fun!

Dracs After Dusk Demo Update

Howdy Partners!

We just released a demo update with the following:

Badge Loadout Game State Flow

We saw several demo players unlock sheriff badges and never find where to equip them for their next run. Now players are shown their badge loadout at the start of every run so no more missing out on equipping your upgrades!

Armory Boss Receives the Nerf Hammer

We had originally designed the Armory Boss to be a challenging but rewarding boss encounter inspired by some of our favorite boss moments from games like Cuphead and World of Warcraft.

Several small Quality of Life improvements have been sprinkled in, but these are the two noticeable changes.

Future Plans

We are on track to release the full game on June 30, 2026. Feedback is always welcome as we strive to make the best game we can for our players.

May Your Aim Always Be Steady,

Olive Hill Studios (Eric, Andrew, Kevin and Brian Haugen)

P.S. Just yesterday one of our demo players, Treefee, posted a new high score of 21,590 that we'll be chasing when not working on the game.
