addedBadge SystemBadges are unlocked through defeating bosses or by completing a certain number of runs. Each badge can be equipped in the newly added Badge Menu with one badge being equipped after rounds 3,5,7 and 9 respectively. That prevents the early rounds from being too easy if you started the game with four of your unlocked badges equipped. We'll leave it to you to find out all the different upgrades!
changedScoring System ChangesWe wanted to reward players who are sniping multi-kills while also spice up the scoring. To that end, players that score a double, triple, quadra or pentakill will trigger a 4 second score multiplier that is based on the multi-kill. For example, a double kill will make vampires worth double points for 4 seconds. Extremely skilled sharpshooters will be able to chain multi-kills into a chain of bonus scoring that will be sure to light up the leaderboard.
addedScoring System ChangesWe have also added a juicy way to pop off your score by taking down one "jackpot" vampire that will spawn each wave!
addedFuture PlansThat rounds out the updates we will feature in the demo. We'll spend the next four months working hard towards the full game release that we are targeting for end of March 2026. But we always would love to hear feedback from our players on the new updates either in the discussion thread below or join our Discord.

Dracs After Dusk Demo Update

Badge System

We've wanted to introduce a way for players to unlock power upgrades as they play the game that they will be able to carry into later runs. Introducing the Sheriff Badge system, YEEHAW!

Badges are unlocked through defeating bosses or by completing a certain number of runs. Each badge can be equipped in the newly added Badge Menu with one badge being equipped after rounds 3,5,7 and 9 respectively. That prevents the early rounds from being too easy if you started the game with four of your unlocked badges equipped. We'll leave it to you to find out all the different upgrades!

Scoring System Changes

We wanted to reward players who are sniping multi-kills while also spice up the scoring.

We have also added a juicy way to pop off your score by taking down one "jackpot" vampire that will spawn each wave!

Future Plans

That rounds out the updates we will feature in the demo. We'll spend the next four months working hard towards the full game release that we are targeting for end of March 2026. But we always would love to hear feedback from our players on the new updates either in the discussion thread below or join our Discord.

Happy Hunting!
