The wait is nearly over: Down with the Ship launches into Early Access on May 15!

Since the demo, we’ve been hard at work expanding, polishing, and reworking major parts of the game. The Early Access release will offer a ton more content than the demo, including:

  • 9 additional captains (!) with unique mechanics and item pools

  • New trinket mechanics, including pre-combat decisions that add more strategic variety

  • A revamped tutorial

  • Steam achievements

  • Unlockable background lore

  • Improved matchmaking

  • Demo unlocks carry over, so anything you unlocked in the demo will still be yours in Early Access

  • Lots of balance changes, quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and miscellaneous tweaks
