Dino-Ducks Mayhem changes
We are participating in the Steam Next Fest between Feb 23 and Mar 2 and of course that comes with some updates, here is the first of the bunch!
Features
Effect rework: Most effects got an overhaul so that they feel more impactful. Bullets also have a trail now. Enemies have more visible hit effects.
- Character select reworkThe character select is reworked to display more information from the start and have a better flow
QoL
UI
Weapons are now swappable from the pause menu and from any overview
Added a recipe page in the Shop
Added direction indicator for event pointers
Better recipe visualization
Balancing:
The health of enemies is higher now
Enemies drop less health packs
The health fountain gives faster health
Recipes cost more shards to make
Bullets fly faster
Make sure all recipes are forgeable
Make see through terrain area bigger
The final boss doesn't stagger anymore
Performance:
Added a max amount of enemies that can be in play
Optimize animations
Optimize enemy movement
General
Add different colors to enemies to indicate their strength
Bugs
Fix layout of multiple buttons
Fix menu flow bugs
Fix forge not working the second time
Fix shop not closing with Escape
