G'day, everyone!
It's been a whole year since Dinkum launched! We'd like to sincerely thank everyone who has loved and supported Dinkum throughout this time. To celebrate our 1st anniversary, we've packed this update with a brand-new island, new systems, a wide variety of new items, and so much more — all as a token of our appreciation. We hope you enjoy everything we've prepared, so let's dive right into what's new!

■ New Island: The Great Bite
Are you ready to grab your boarding pass at the airport and set off on a new adventure? This is the biggest news of the update!
A brand-new island called"The Great Bite"awaits you, filled with sheer cliffs, rare creatures, and hidden treasures — explore it for yourself in-game!
A new flight destination,"The Great Bite", has been added to the airport.
The flight destination alternates between Island Reef and The Great Bite every hour depending on departure time.
While exploring The Great Bite, you may discover a Hunter's Camp in a random location.
The Great Bite features climbable cliff faces.
Rare insects and fish for the current season appear much more frequently on The Great Bite.
Alpha animals can spawn on The Great Bite.
◆ Hunter's Camp
While exploring The Great Bite, you just might hear a familiar whistle — it's Ted Selly! This time he's set up camp somewhere on the island, waiting for you. The Hunter's Camp comes with two unique crafting stations.

◆ Lighthouses
You'll spot lighthouses rising up across The Great Bite — don't pass them by! Making good use of them can be a huge help when searching for hidden treasure.
4–5 Lighthouses are placed around The Great Bite.
You can power a Lighthouse using a Hot Cylinder.
A powered Lighthouse illuminates the surrounding area and reveals the location of nearby treasure.
Repairing a Lighthouse for the first time rewards you with the Lighthouse crafting recipe, so you can place one on your own island too.

Some minor balance adjustments have been made to certain content for a more enjoyable experience.

■ Bug Fixes
We have reviewed and resolved a number of issues reported by the community as well as some internally discovered bugs. We will continue to do our best to ensure the smoothest experience possible.
Fixed an issue where purchasing an item from Jimmy's boat sale table caused adjacent items to disappear.
Fixed a loop where being knocked out by an active monster near a bed would cause the player to be knocked out again during daily results or loading.
Fixed an issue where attempting to enter a building while riding certain vehicles would only display assets within a limited range.
Fixed an issue where using a Scythe or watering could, in certain situations, consume no stamina.
Fixed an issue where ore floating in the air prevented the Stone Grinder from being used.
Fixed an issue where the translation of "Licence" in the Korean main menu credits popup appeared awkward.
Fixed an issue where placing a Mine near Sheila's Tuckshop caused rectangular structures to appear inside the Mine.
Fixed an issue where the client would freeze when selling items to Jimmy above the maximum value.
Fixed an issue where Lily Pads would not grow in flower beds.
Fixed an issue where kites and their tails were displayed separated in mid-air.
Fixed unnatural phrasing in Nick's character dialogue.
Fixed an issue where a storage box containing food and tools loaded into a wheelbarrow would disappear after sleeping.
Fixed an issue where the cursor behaved in an unfriendly manner when deselecting multiple items chosen for sale from inventory.
Fixed an issue where moving while reeling in a shark caused the shark to become attached to the fishing rod.
Fixed an issue where the umbrella model clipped through the player's body.
Fixed an issue where jumping out of an aircraft mid-flight caused the aircraft to freeze in mid-air.
Fixed an issue where only 1 of 4 guest houses displayed its name as "Guest House" in the map icon label.
Fixed an issue in multiplayer where a player could climb on top of another player to bypass wall collisions inside a tent.
Fixed an issue where an island name of 11 or more full-width characters caused the Town Hall sign text to overflow its border.
Fixed an issue (Indonesian only) where dialogue when purchasing Watermelon Seeds from Rain's shop extended beyond its border.
Fixed an issue where a player name of 16 full-width characters combined with maximum funds caused the name and dink icon to overlap in the save data list.
Fixed an issue in multiplayer where system notification text was displayed in the host's language.
Fixed an issue where naming a photo with 12 or more full-width characters caused the name to be cut off when viewed in the album.
Fixed an issue where Dog Kennels and Bird Coops could be placed on tiles where the player was standing.
Fixed an issue where the collision on the Fairy Light Pergola did not match its visual model.
Fixed a bug where pet dogs could escape from a kennel fully enclosed by fencing.

Fixed an issue where, when using a gamepad in Creative Mode, the [▼] button could not be selected when the inventory top UI and the health/stamina bar UI overlapped.
Fixed an issue where bridge items appeared as if they could be placed overlapping a tile during placement.
Fixed an issue where the player character's animation was abnormal when long-pressing to place a Floor Light item.
Fixed an issue where completing an NPC's first request did not increase that NPC's affection level.
Fixed an issue (Russian and Spanish) where the "Primary Colour" string overflowed its button during home customisation.
Fixed an issue in some language crafting UIs where button line breaks appeared awkward during crafting.
Fixed an issue (Portuguese) where the "Keep checking recipe ingredients" checkbox appeared outside its area during item crafting at a crafting table.
Fixed an issue causing lag in multiplayer.
Fixed an issue where exiting the Bug Gallery in the Museum while pressing against the wall did not trigger the exit.
Fixed an issue where the licence name format in the script displayed when purchasing from NPC Irwin appeared inconsistently.

Fixed an issue with a typo in licence tooltips.
