G’day, mates!
Can you believe it’s already December—the most festive time of the year? As always, that means a familiar face is returning to your island. Let’s all give a warm welcome back to Nick, who’s here once again for the December Festival!
Oh, and for those of you playing Dinkum on Nintendo Switch—this might be your very first time meeting him! Nick is a special villager who only visits during December. He’s known for crafting all sorts of festive items that perfectly capture the joyful spirit of the season. So if you’ve been wanting to decorate your town with a cozy festival touch, this is your chance to get creative and have some fun!
As usual, there are plenty of winter festivities happening across the island—special investigation requests, unique rewards, and even the appearance of the White Boomer—all to make your December adventures extra merry.

Event Details
Special Villager: Nick
On sunny days during the event, keep an eye out along the beaches—you’ll see a candy-shaped question mark icon on your map. That’s where you’ll find Nick!
Nick can craft a variety of festival-themed items, but you’ll need Cherries as one of the key ingredients. Don’t worry—we’ll tell you how to get them!
Special Requests & the White Jackaroo
If you’ve placed a bulletin board in your town, check it during the event—you’ll find limited-time investigation requests available only this month. Follow the map to the marked area, and open Jolly Sack to discover exclusive festive items and Cherries inside!
During the event period, you may also spot some unusually colored White Boomers roaming around the island. According to Nick, he seems to have lost a few of them! If you manage to capture a White Boomer using animal traps and send it to the Animal Collection Point, you’ll receive Dinks and Cherries as a reward in the mail the next day.
They’re quick and easily startled, so try to outsmart them and carefully guide them into your traps!
Make the most of this festive season to collect cheerful clothing, decorations, and furniture that will fill your island with holiday magic. Customize your town to match your style and celebrate the December Festival in your own way!
