Dinkum December Snapshot Event

G’day everyone

To celebrate the upcoming December, the Dinkum December Snapshot Event is here!

Decorate your town with a Festive Season theme and share your creations with the community. Selected submissions will be featured as in-game loading screens during the end-of-year and New Year period, and winners will receive official Dinkum merchandise of their choice as prizes.

Additionally, everyone who participates will be entered into a random draw for participation rewards, so please check the details below and join the event!

How to Participate

• Decorate your town in-game with a Festive Season theme

• Upload your screenshot and a short description to the Discord #dec_snapshot_event channel

Winner Selection

• Top 5 entries with the most pink heart emoji (:buff_healregen:) votes

• 5 entries selected by the operations team

• 5 entries selected randomly among all participants

Rewards

• Top 5 & Staff Picks (10 winners)

• Featured as in-game loading screens + 1 Dinkum goodie of your choice (Desk Pad A/B, Cushion, or Keycap) + Special role granted on Discord

Winner Announcement

• Winners will be announced on December 22 (Mon) via the Discord announcement channel.

Participation Rules

• Uploaded images should be at least 1080x1024 resolution, under 10MB, and in jpg jpeg or png format

• Selected works will be featured as in-game loading screens from December 24 (Wed) to January 4 (Sun) The schedule or duration may change depending on operational circumstances

• Entries containing inappropriate content, copyrighted material, or stolen works may be removed without notice Community restrictions may apply

• In case of a tie in votes, the final decision will be made by the operations team

• Only the pink heart emoji (:buff_healregen:) will be counted as a valid vote Other emojis will not be tallied

• Mass vote requests, bot usage, or multiple account voting will result in disqualification

• Stolen screenshots, heavy photo edits, or external graphic inserts will be disqualified Basic edits such as brightness or color adjustments are allowed

• Entries deemed off-theme may be excluded from judging regardless of vote count

• Each participant may submit only one valid entry If multiple entries are submitted, only the most recent one will be counted

• Winning entries will be adjusted to fit the in-game loading screen format Minor color, lighting, or rendering differences may occur during implementation This is part of the normal process

• Loading screens will be applied only to the Steam version and not to the Nintendo Switch version

• For prize delivery, winners will be asked to provide personal information such as country and shipping address Winners may refuse to provide this information but in that case, rewards cannot be delivered

• By participating, you agree that all submitted works may be used on Dinkum’s official channels Discord, Steam, X and others for promotional or community showcase purposes
