Gameplay

  • Fixed a case where interacting with an in-world item or opening inventory while a transition was happening could trap you.

  • Fixed a case where if you walked away from the Survey Machine in the beginning could cause it to break. For real, this time.

  • Fixed a case where you could softlock yourself by traveling through a gate mid-closing.

  • We added an extra phone call in the middle to help with the pacing of the story.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the player to lose a very important puzzle item.

  • There was a softlock that prevented progress after the Kitchen area if the player messed with the power before entering.

  • Fixed a case where a particular puzzle on the kitchen table was skippable by reloading the game.

  • Swapped the phone call in the Landing Bay to a more mysterious one.

  • The interactive ladder climbing in the station was weird, swapped it to an uninteractive one.

  • Fixed a case where trying to go back in the (cave) after crossing it resulted in strange behavior.

  • Playing on low framerate could cause the player to teleport into a softlocked state on the station. Fixed.

  • Synced the on-off state of a particular secret lever with its corresponding secret door's open-closed state.

  • Fixed a dial that could visually skip around.

  • Adjusted some timings so the visual feedback better matches the player interactions.

  • Updated some of the vaguer hints to better guide the player

  • Added some new hints for missed obtainable items in the world

  • Fixed some collision artifacts that could cause the player to get stuck.

  • Fixed cases where you could click through windows.

  • Fixed an issue where playing without Steam running could cause the game to hang before the ending cutscene.

  • Fixed a case where controllers would not stop vibrating after interacting with specific levers.

Visual

  • Lowered the power of some of the lights that could cause hints to be too bright.

  • Fixed a case where a buoy could stop rendering while clearly visible.

  • Fixed a bug where reloading the game could cause one of the power generators to look offline (when it was online).

  • Fixed various inspectable objects' default rotation.

  • Fixed text formatting on various hint objects.

  • Fixed a case where pasta and rice were stored in invisible jars.

  • Fixed a case where a specific cable was not visually plugged in after reloading the game.

Audio

  • Fixed a bug where reverb zones stayed active after loading a game

  • Updated audio feedback of various interactions.

  • Fixed subtitle timing of various voicelines.

  • Removed mouseover and click audio from unactive buttons.

  • We found some audio clips that tended to not play. Fixed.

  • Added audio feedback to some puzzle solutions.

  • Finetuned cable car audio when operated remotely.

  • Music during conversations is lower now.

UI

  • Visual fixes for the credits and title scenes.

  • Larger GUI scale could cause some UI elements to scale out of the screen. Fixed.

  • Larger GUI scale could cause some UI elements to overlap. Fixed.

  • Fixed some cases where translated text elements too long for their bounding box.

  • Fixed cases where UI texts and buttons could stay on the screen when they shouldn't have.

  • (Re)added text colorization of different speakers to the intro conversation.

  • We weren't saving the player's "Don't ask me again" preference when deleting a photo. Fixed.

  • Fixed a case where you couldn't drag your photos around while drawing on them.
