Updated Demo is Back!
We are happy to announce that the Dig Island Demo is back online and fully updated with the latest improvements! If you have friends who haven't tried the game yet, now is the perfect time for them to jump in and experience the island.
Gameplay & Quality of Life
Added a new option to destroy mined ores when your inventory is full, preventing dropped items from blocking your path while digging. (Note: Items destroyed this way cannot be recovered).
Moved the "Auto-Collect" and the new "Auto-Destroy" mining options under the Gameplay tab in the Settings menu.
Refined various User Interface elements for better clarity.
Updated and corrected localizations across multiple languages.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where warning messages were appearing behind UI elements.
Fixed a visual issue that made the clock difficult to see while underground at night.
Fixed a generation error related to chunk spawning location.
Fixed several bugs triggered by the new movable chests mechanic.
Fixed an issue that caused the crafting info tooltip to close unexpectedly.
Fixed a visual bug in the elevator that could occasionally cause the underside of the world to become visible.
We’ll continue refining Dig Island with regular updates throughout Early Access. Thank you for your feedback and support.
Safe digging.
