Dig Island changes
Update 0.3 is now available. This update focuses on expanding underground mechanics, adding highly requested quality-of-life features, and increasing localization support.
Your feedback and suggestions are very important to us in making Dig Island better. We value your ideas, and your reviews greatly help our game reach more players. We are grateful for your reviews.
Underground Hazards
Digging requires more caution. We have introduced new environmental hazards to the underground layers to make exploration more dynamic.
What this means
You may now encounter explosive mines while digging.
Lava rocks have been added to the underground generation.
Stay alert and plan your routes carefully to avoid taking damage.
Recipe Pinning System
We’ve added a new system to help you track your crafting goals more efficiently without constantly opening your inventory.
How it works
Select any recipe in the crafting menu and pin it.
The required materials will stay visible on your screen.
Easily track what you need while exploring the island.
Movable Chests
Reorganizing your base is now much simpler. You no longer need to empty and break chests to change their location.
How it works
Approach a placed chest.
Pick it up directly with its contents inside.
Place it in your desired new location.
Placeable Torches
Torches are no longer just for holding. You can now use them to set up permanent light sources around your base or mining tunnels.
Key details
Equip a torch and place it directly on the ground.
Use them to illuminate work areas or mark your path back home.
Falling Tree Hazard
Logging requires a bit more situational awareness. Falling timber is now a physical hazard in the environment.
Key details
Trees will now deal damage if they fall directly on your character's head after being chopped down.
Maintain a safe distance when a tree starts to fall.
