fixedFixed driving settings menu to not show roles other than leading driver for rescue scenarios

The third gameplay patch is now live with the following changes:

Penalties, scoring and achievements

  • Adjusted collision penalty to make it less sensitive

  • Prevented "changing gears with power on" penalty from triggering if engines are not running

GUI

  • Attempted to fix HUD gradient sign again

  • Fixed content management list for trains to show unnamed entries (ones with no vehicles)

  • Fixed driving settings menu to not show roles other than leading driver for rescue scenarios

  • Changed returning back to previous menu to highlight the previously selected item automatically

  • Added missing back actions to "Make copy" options for consistency

  • Added warnings to "Make copy" options about being unsuitable for backups because they regenerate GUIDs and will break references between timetables, routes and trains. If you need to make a backup, copy the folder manually instead

  • Added filtering by starting station to service listing

Editors

  • Fixed a possible crash in the timetable editor during a test run

  • Fixed editor side panel data to sync with editing done in the main view. For example, when dragging a node its position is now updated immediately in the side panel

  • Disabled undo/redo mechanism in all editors for now because it was unreliable

  • Changed timetable editor to start through the loading screen because loading can take a long time for some routes

  • Changed service listing in timetable editor to not show the template of each service as a child item because deleting a template with multiple services would cause a crash. Each service now has an "Open template" option instead

  • Changed exiting an editor to return to the previous menu instead of going back to the root of the main menu

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed horn lever to be more responsive when dragged with the mouse

  • Fixed wrong speed limit signs near Litton tunnel in the Mountain Pass route

  • Fixed Class 37 and 40 engine sounds to be less muddled

  • Adjusted vehicle interior audio mixing to make engines more audible

  • Adjusted midday bloom and color grading to make colours more vibrant

Another patch coming soon
