The Lich Update is LIVE

As chosen by the Update Poll, the Lich Update is up! With more profane Rituals to fill your forbidden libraries! And a new form even more terrifying than a Devil's!

Changelog

• New Metamorphosis: LICH! Become a half-undead beyond life and death in this most profane of forms! Including all the powers you'd expect from a Lich like raising and commanding the Undead, eating Souls and delivering Death with only a stare!

• New Ritual: Lichification! What is losing half of your limbs, and your abs and replacing them with a giant orb compared to ETERNAL PROFANE UNLIFE!?

• New Ritual: ???? ?? ??? ????, a Lich's specialty!

• 2 new lorebooks, "Poem Of Unlife" and "Odd Diagrams", totally normal and not profane or ritualistic at all!

• Added Advanced Options for Health and Mana Regeneration, Carry and Equip Weight multipliers, and Durability and Stamina loss, so casuals can't complain!

• Added missing icon for Shiro dungeons in the world map

• Added the Eastern Armor set to the crafting table!

• Better positioning for the ceiling lamps in the Shiro Dungeons, so they don't clip with traps or props

• Cut the importance of the Relationships between Factions to half when calculating initial NPC Disposition, to avoid endless Disposition downspirals if you're friends with everybody including rival Factions

• Devils now properly have black blood

• Eastern Helmets (Kabutos) now have unique Coins used for their decoration based on level (or none at all on Level 1 (Stone))

• Factions are now saved in a separate file from world.json, due to their size in large worlds, to avoid lag in the title screen and on common save/load data operations

• Goblins can now wear head or ear equipment to shield their eyes from the sun, vampires too but it's less effective

• Improved the details for the Ritual in Mephistopheles' Ritual Method for Form Gamma

• Improved the text of the "Mephistopheles' Ritual Method for Form Gamma" book, with the help of JOJ XIX!

• Loot in Devil Spires is no longer regional, and their styles are randomized

• Metamorphosing into a Lich or Devil now fully stacks with being a Vampire or Werewolf, with the appearance mostly dictated by the last Metamorphosis performed (but they won't stack with each other)

• Monsters can now spawn in uneven terrain, to fix their spawn rates in the north and south poles

• NPCs no longer ignore being inside locked buildings when deciding if they'll visit the one you're currently in or not

• Re-separated the Northen Armor set so that the pauldrons are fixed and part of the cuirass, improving clipping when you have ultra high Strength

• Skinwalker or Undead NPCs now no longer fear talking with you if you're also an Undead or Skinwalker

• Skinwalkers are now properly barred from any Metamorphosis (to avoid endless issues), but they can now attain their powers by Skinwalking one of them

• The Ritual of Resurrection no longer destroys the Ritual Site, but has new visual and sound effects!

• You now always use the lowest value Items in your Inventory when Crafting or Building, if multiple different materials would be acceptable (like Any Wood Plank or Metal Ingot)

• Fixed crafting studded and chain textiles requiring Simple Crafting instead of Complex

• Fixed Gatekeeper NPCs not being generated in their working position (post)

• Fixed incorrectly drawn walls in dungeon maps and minimaps, especially for Pyramids and Shiros

• Fixed NPCs endlessly trying to burn corpses that are underwater

• Fixed the Outcast Faction's tolerance to Goblins when they're playing the flute

• Fixed some Skeletons having boobs (Ithiro was killed for this regression)

• Other misc changes and improvements

Some of the content introduced in updates won't show up in your game world, or at least won't be readily available, if it was generated before the update. They should not corrupt world files, but if they do, please report it!
