Repeated intro

Hello Everyone, The Star Wars trench run was a big inspiration behind DestructoPod. I wanted to create a game that encapsulated the excitement I felt when I saw the X-wing fighters scream down the Death Star’s trench avoiding blasters. I than augmented the idea with twisty canyons and other obstacles to make the game more challenging. But I’m realizing flying is not for everyone. In fact, flying in narrow corridors can be actually quite challenging. So I’m considering adding a FPS mode that is similar to how the “Mindless Mayhem” level is played. Players could than run the course instead of fly it. All other aspects of the game would remain the same. The controller remains my biggest Achilles heel. I’ve always used the keyboard/mouse to play games and avoided controllers. I’m simply bad at using them. I figure if I can get it to the point where I can fly it well using a controller, everyone else should have no problem with it. So enter the “Duke” and some controller modifications. I should have the update ready by the end of the week. Ideas, thoughts and suggestions are always welcome. Thanks for your support. Cheers, Helmar
