Desperate Place changes
Dear Players, It has been nearly two months since Desperate Place launched. During this time, we’ve received a great deal of valuable feedback and suggestions. We sincerely thank you for your support and enthusiasm!
Foreword
Version 1.1.0 is a major update. We've made comprehensive changes to gameplay freedom, strategic depth, and control logic, aiming to provide a richer and more flexible gaming experience.
Key Updates
Greater Freedom The defense tower system has undergone a major overhaul. Upon reaching level 2, players must choose a development branch. At level 3, exclusive traits will be unlocked to help tackle different challenges. Every choice significantly impacts your defensive strategy.
New Buildings and Units Two new types of factories have been added, producing a total of six new melee and ranged units. Each has unique characteristics. Players can control and command them directly to take charge of the battlefield.
Reworked Stages All existing levels have been rebuilt with new construction points and layouts, offering more tactical flexibility. We highly recommend that veteran players start a new save to experience the changes.
Character Adjustments Some previously overpowered characters have been rebalanced. For example, the Demolition Expert and the Commander now have new weapons. Passive skills of characters like the Engineer and the Arsonist have also been adjusted.
Tactical Robot Adjustments With the addition of new units, tactical robots have also been rebalanced. Robots that previously had limited functions now offer more tactical benefits, such as healing and counterattack buffs for nearby units.
Monster Rework and Balancing Monster traits have been extensively modified. Early monsters now have more distinct roles, and evolved variants are more specialized.
New Fire Mode Options In addition to the existing auto-fire mode, a manual fire mode has been added. Players can now manually target and eliminate higher-priority threats based on battlefield analysis.
New Tactical Skills and Challenges New tactical abilities and challenges have been designed for the newly introduced units, allowing players to maximize strategic gains in extreme situations and experience even tougher challenges.
Optimizations
Improved localization for English, Korean, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese Launched limited localization tests for Spanish and Portuguese Enhanced graphical clarity and visual effects
Improved pathfinding logic for monsters and units
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where some monsters could get stuck on certain stages
We will continue to monitor and improve the gaming experience. Thank you for your support and patience! If you have any suggestions or feedback, please feel free to contact us.
Happy gaming!
