All Aboard: The Denshattack! Voice Cast is Here!
We’re excited to officially unveil the voice talent bringing the world of Denshattack! to life both in English and Japanese.
From seasoned industry veterans to a brand new voice acting debut, our cast spans an incredible range of experience across games, anime and interactive media. Each character is voiced in English and Japanese with various languages with subtitles to ensure players can experience the story in their preferred way. You'll also be able to play with your preferred language subtitles with Japanese dub, and you can switch between voice over at any point throughout the game.
Now let’s meet our vibrant crew of characters and the voices behind them!
🍜Emi Araki is a 19-year-old train driver living in Beppu, Ōita Prefecture. She earns a living delivering ramen using an old train, driving through the remnants of the countryside. Energetic, resilient, and quietly shy, Emi is deeply passionate about trains. After meeting Fernando she embarks on a journey to explore what it means to be a Denshattacker.
English Voice: Rhiannon Moushall
Known for roles such as Ceydra (Honkai: Star Rail), Vivian (Mouse: PI for Hire), and Ember (Arknights: Endfield).
Japanese Voice: Nikray Farahnaz
Additional work includes Monster Hunter Wilds, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
I’m Nikray Farahnaz, and I voice the protagonist, Emi.
What drew you to this character?
Because Emi is an energetic character who works part-time at a ramen shop, I also went into the recording full of excitement and in high spirits.
Comment from the performer: Recognized for her driving skills, Emi joins Denshattack, a competition where Japan’s greatest drivers face off against each other in tricks and races. With its stylish, cool, and cute art style and exhilarating sense of speed in the driving, it’s a thrilling and incredibly fun game!
The allies and enemies you meet along the way are all super, super, super unique and absolutely full of charm! And not only is it exhilarating, there’s also a certain scene with her grandmother that really moved me...!
📸Fernando Tamashiro is a photographer and zine writer who has been travelling Japan documenting underground art and activist movements. His latest obsession is Denshattack!. Calm, curious and easy to talk to, he comes alive whenever the conversation hits something he cares about.
English Voice: Andrew Wheildon-Dennis
🔗 @andrewwden Known for Nowa (Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes), Alonzo (Metaphor: ReFantazio), and Roger Finch (007: First Light).
Japanese Voice: Katsunori Okai Nishida
🔗 @k_katsuokai Work includes the Like A Dragon series, Hoki Taketori (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations), and a ship captain role in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
Hello everyone! I’m Katsunori Okai, and I had the pleasure of voicing Fernando.
What's your favourite thing about playing Fernando? The way everything came to life through the camera felt so vivid and exciting, and I found myself speaking Fernando’s lines with that same sense of thrill.
Comment from the performer: I had actually heard about Denshattack! even before I joined the project as a voice actor, and I remember thinking, “Whoa, what is this insane game?!” (laughs)
As someone who uses the train every day, it was quite the experience to see the potential of how they could be used in-game. I can’t wait to see everyone unleash their inner Denshattack spirit!
I hope you’ll have a lot of fun playing.
💅🏻Yoshie Mitsutake is a kogal from Fukuoka and the only daughter of a wealthy family. A popular influencer and dedicated party girl, she was banned from public spaces by local politicians who saw her as a bad influence. She responded by uniting kogals across Kyushu into a gang to push back against the traditional society that tried to shut her down.
English Voice: Dev Joshi
🔗 @devikajoshi Credits include Izzy Moss (Forza Horizon 6), Saira Kabiri (Aliens: Dark Descent), and Surfer (Arknights).
Japanese Voice: Hana Takeda
🔗 @TakedaHana Known for Seonhee (Like A Dragon series), Seori (Ninja Gaiden 4), and Kurotsuchi (Naruto: Shippuden).
⚾Madoka Sat o is a former baseball prodigy from Hiroshima whose anger issues ended her career after she put two rivals in the hospital during a championship match.
She turned to the abandoned train network to keep moving, took over the smaller gangs operating in Chugoku through sheer force, and carved out her territory in Denshattack.
English Voice: Florence St Ledger.
This is Florence’s debut role!
Japanese Voice: Shoko Arai
🔗 @shoko_va Additional roles in Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai, Resident Evil Requiem, and Monster Hunter Wilds.
Hello, everyone! I’m Hana Takeda, and I voice Yoshie in Denshattack!.
What drew you to this character? I first fell in love with how vivid her character design was, and how exciting the world of Denshattack! was. Because of how stylish, upbeat, and full of energy she is, Yoshie was such a fun character to bring to life in a lively, playful way.
Comment from the performer: Hearing that “you move trains along the tracks and pull off tricks!” might sound a little strange at first, but once you play the game, I think you’ll really get to enjoy that feeling for yourself! It’s a wonderfully over-the-top game, so I hope you enjoy it!
🎸 Shin Ogiso & Fumihiko Kawamura are childhood friends and self-proclaimed cool guys who never quite left their rockabilly days behind. Raised in working-class families who ran a successful car tuning workshop together, they inherited the business just as oil became scarce and cars went out of fashion. They relocated to Shikoku to keep the workshop alive, but with little work coming in these days, they spend most of their time tuning train engines for Denshattack!.
Shin Ogiso

Fumihiko Kawamura
English Voice: Ross Henson
Japanese Voice: Motoki Sakuma
Additional Voices in Spy X Family, Final Fantasy XVI, Resident Evil Requiem
Hello, everyone! I’m Motoki Sakuma, and I play Fumihiko in Denshattack!.
What drew you to this character?
What drew me to Fumihiko was the contrast between his cool, rock-and-roll way of life and the playful side he shows when he hums to himself. That unique gap in his personality made him a lot of fun to perform. Comment from the performer:
The story and battles created by this original world and its colorful cast of characters were full of surprise after surprise. I’m sure players will enjoy them as much as I did.
🕸️ Yamagata grew up on the streets of Namba raising his siblings after his mother died, and has been at war with authority ever since. Expelled from the local gang for refusing to work with corrupt police, he built his own crew of outlaws across the Kinki area using abandoned train lines as their network. Yamagata is reckless, principled and never backs down.
English Voice: Oliver James Parkins
Japanese Voice: Yasuhiko Tanabe
Additional work includes Like A Dragon series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and Diablo IV.
I’m Yasuhiko Tanabe, and I played Yamagata in Denshattack!.
What drew you to this character?
What drew me to Yamagata was the unexpected contrast within the character—at first I thought they might be rough and hard-edged, but they also reveal serious and delicate sides. That complexity made the role especially challenging.
Comment from the performer: Above all, it’s artistic! And speedy! Kaiju! Giant robots! This title really has it all.
You may find yourself thinking, “Have I ever seen scenery like this before?!”
And yet, there’s no mistaking it—this is Nippon (Japan). Immerse yourself and lose track of time while riding the beat in the world of Denshattack!
💀Shihori Yoneda is a Yakuza captain and the heir to the Yoneda family, who fought twice as hard as anyone else to earn her place. The family moved into Denshattack! to keep a grip on crime outside the domes; useful leverage with the government. Shihori is the final obstacle standing between Emi and her goal: ruthless, powerful, and completely committed to keeping the status quo intact. Defeat her, and she'll respect you for it.
English Voice: Jane Ajia
Japanese Voice: Mutsumi Oki
Known for additional roles in Diablo IV and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
🎼Suzuna Sei was a child star until the corporation that made her dropped her for younger talent. She kept chasing her music career until it went nowhere, then took her guitar outside the domes and found the only audience that actually connected with her; Denshattackers. She picked up train riding and never looked back. Twenty years later she leads her own band-gang, performing while on the tracks.
English Voice: Natasha Powell
Japanese Voice: Yuuri Sakamoto
🔗 @lilly_0225 Known for additional roles in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Octopath Traveler II, and Unicorn Overlord.
Hello, everyone. I’m Yuuri Sakamoto, and I play Sei in Denshattack.
What's your favourite thing about playing Sei? It was a lot of fun expressing Sei’s strong-willed side, and I performed with plenty of energy to match the speed and momentum of the game itself.
And that’s it! 👏🏻
We’re incredibly proud of the talent helping to shape the world and tone of Denshattack!. With English and Japanese voice support we hope to deliver an experience that brings every character to life no matter how you choose to play.
