Voice Work and Scene Art Complete! DLC Launches July 29!

Hi everyone!

We have some good news to share: Demonic Mahjong’s new free DLC, “Heatwave Carnival,” will officially launch on July 29!

We recently wrapped voice recording for all of the new characters appearing in the DLC.

For the Chinese voice cast, Zhenxin voices King Dushi and Dragonvine, Danaodai voices Mandra and Sweetie, and Dalu voices Monotropa and Lycoris.

For the Japanese voice cast, 青木陽菜 voices Sweetie and Mandra, 立石凛 voices Monotropa and Dragonvine, 生田善子 voices King Dushi, and 篠原なるみ voices Lycoris.

For the English voice cast, Melissa White voices Lycoris, Alexa Kaye voices Monotropa, Laura Lockwood voices Dragonvine, Kitty Jay voices King Dushi, Chloe Elmore voices Mandra, and Danielle Ferguson voices Sweetie.

At the same time, the scene art for the new DLC is also nearing completion. Today, we’d like to share an early look at some of the new maps and match scenes.

In folklore, this sweltering hell is ruled by King Dushi, one of the Ten Kings of Hell. Hidden deep beneath the sea, under the western Wojiao Stone, it is one of the most scorching and restless places in the underworld.

Building on that legend, our artist created the new maps and scenes around the theme of “a sunken city beneath the sea.” A ghostly metropolis swallowed by the ocean, and a hellscape where heat and dampness press together, will be one of the defining visual impressions of this DLC.
