SAVING, NEW SHIP AREAS, SHOP RE-BALANCING, AND PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS
CHANGES
Saving:
You asked for 'saving.' I don't know what that means, but our boys in the company figured it out and crammed the entire known universe onto a VHS tape. Once you load it? Gone. The tape eats the data itself. That's not a bug, that's a feature. Storage is expensive. Side effects may include spontaneous species reassignment.
You can save anytime, once per round
You can only load on round 1
Save is deleted after being loaded
You might experience some species swap
Ship:
Ship now contains a basement.
You wanted a mirror. Mirrors are for bathrooms. Our engineers built the Ultimate Camera 3000 instead, it does everything a mirror does, plus things a mirror shouldn't. If it starts glowing orange, that's normal. If YOU start glowing orange, you've got about four seconds.
Shop:
I've cut a deal with our fellow STAN and decreased store prices:
Skates decreased to 15
Spring decreased to 10
Spray decreased to 5 (+ 100 decals allowed now)
Shield increased to 75
And other items decreased / increased prices.
World Generation:
Fixed world generation not using all possible templates.
Fixed contracts not calculating the scrap & reward required
Added slime back, as a variant to the chicken!
Optimizations:
Increased performance on train
Increased performance on city
Increased performance on apartments (sadly the 3000 degree area had to go)
Forgot to properly config LOD, so now that should work :P
Connecting players should lag less when joining! Hopefully this fixes the "player crashes after joining with 3 other players"
Solo players:
Increased auto respawns to 2
Linux fixes:
Some linux versions were not properly reporting their screen size, there is a fallback now.
More content & optimizations to come soon (can only do so much solo developing)! Thanks again everyone for playing my silly yeen game, it's really motivating <3
