Repeated intro

Hey everyone!

Now that Steam Next Fest has wrapped up, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

The past few weeks have been huge for DekaDuck. Between the demo launch, creator coverage, and Steam Next Fest, we've seen far more players jump into the game than we ever expected.

Here are the numbers so far:

  • 7,340 Demo Downloads

  • 15,827 Steam Wishlists

Seeing thousands of players pick up the demo, throw enemies around, discover shortcuts, and even find a few things they definitely weren't supposed to find has been incredible.

The feedback we've received has already helped us improve the game, with several updates and adjustments coming directly from player suggestions. Whether you played for five minutes or speedran the entire demo, thank you for helping shape DekaDuck.

Beyond Next Fest

While Steam Next Fest may be over, we're just getting started.

We've continued updating the demo, we're preparing more community playtesting opportunities, and we're working hard to push the project toward the finish line.

One of the biggest pieces of news is that the DekaDuck Kickstarter recently passed 50% funded.

Reaching this milestone has been a huge boost for the project and shows there's a real audience excited to see the full game become a reality.

Want to Help?

If you enjoyed the demo and want to support DekaDuck's development, or even get your hands on the physical release before anyone else there are a few ways you can help:

  • Wishlist DekaDuck on Steam

  • Join our Discord community

  • Tell a friend about the game

  • Back the Kickstarter

Every wishlist, download, share, and backer helps us continue building the final version of DekaDuck we want to bring to players.

Thank you again for making Steam Next Fest such an amazing experience for us.

We're excited to show you what's next.

– Andre
