New Upgrades & Production

  • Deep Mines are now available as a blue tier upgrade. Deep Mines can be placed on ore tiles that have exhausted the resource. While more expensive to operate, Deep Mines can help keep the production lines churning when other mines stop producing.

  • Plastics Production has been changed to a blue tier upgrade to help with progression through the tech tree and to make the production of oil more profitable.

  • Additional Supply Ships can now be unlocked through upgrades, giving you more flexibility in scaling your logistics network and increasing colony profit.

Shuttle & Logistics Improvements

  • Fixed an issue where long-range shuttles could get stuck if an inbound relay’s storage was full.

  • Improved shuttle decision-making to prioritize deliveries over pickups, resulting creating chains of transport hubs faster and easier.

  • Adjusted delivery ordering logic to be more efficient (still a work in progress, but moving in the right direction).

Combat Fixes

  • Missile Towers will now correctly acquire new targets after firing at their initial targets.

UI & Gameplay Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where tile types could load incorrectly after loading a newly saved game. (Further improvement still needed.)

  • Building menu order now properly reflects the order in which structures are unlocked via the tech tree.

  • Resolved a bug where World Map tooltips could show after loading a save.

  • CosmeticChanges were made to market pricingsubstantially reducing the long term effects on prices when selling large amounts of a given resource. This should allow larger colonies to be more profitable.

Performance Improvements

  • Various optimizations across:

    • UI systems

    • GPU instancing

    • Shuttle routing

Next Steps

  • Tier 4 (the pink tier) of the tech tree is complete. The upgrades need to be play tested and balanced with an expected release by early May. This tier includes new buildings and several new productions lines.

  • Work on the game's story and overall progression. This will include bringing back "special projects" that are intended to be more tightly integrated with the story and the game's progression as a whole.

As always, feedback is incredibly valuable—Keep it coming!
