addedPart of our team is working on supporting new platforms and ways of playing the game. We have added controller support, and we're working hard so the full version of our game will run perfect on the Steam Deck.
addedOne thing that most of you asked for is the ability to save your progress in the demo. We already had that on the full game, but for some crazy mind blogging decisions, we thought the demo didn't need that, considering its short playthrough. But anyhow, we added the save system to the demo as well. Feel free to start a game, stop anytime, save, and then load it back once you want to continue playing the demo. Isn't it neat? Wow, technology is amazing. (be warned, the save file in the demo doesn't carry through to the full game)
addedNow, in regards to gameplay. There's a bunch of small changes and fixes overall. But there's a couple that you guys might find more interesting. We've made some changes in the combat system. Overall we wanted you to feel more impact when swinging your sword against those skeletons, we added camera shake, changed some skeleton animations and behaviour, and even rebalanced our stamina bar. I hope you liked it.
addedWhen you get to your campsite, you're going to notice some changes too. Leaving vegetables over the campfire is not safe anymore, it might get burned and turned into a charcoal. Leaving your food unatended for too long inside a chest might spoil and lose its magical properties. Some new buffs and recipes were added, but overal, we wanted the cooking part of the demo to be a little bit more like the full game. We want you to see more of its depths. Oh yeah, and also, we added a nice cooking table for you in the last bits of the demo.
addedAnd for the grand finale, something that everyone was asking for... you can now harvest scorpion and bat carcasses. This will be the cornerstone for the full cooking feature you get to experience in the full game, once it's out, in Fall 2026.
changedPlease, hence forth and enjoy our updated demo during the Steam Next Fest. Explore the depths. Bring ingredients to camp. And let us know what you think! \o/

We're very excited to let you all know that we'll be part of the Steam Next Fest, from June 15 to 22. Seeing all your amazing feedback on the demo we put out a couple months ago, we decided to make some changes to improve the overall experience, and certainly, this will also help us shape the full game.
