Hello Deconstructors! π
Last time we talked about prefabricators and how you are making house modules, and today we're putting them to use! ποΈ
Modular houses!π
You already saw in previous post how the modules are made so here is step by step how you handle them:
After the modules are delivered to the construction site, the player uses a crane to transport and assemble them.
Each type of wall module has a designated installation location where it must be placed.
Placing a module in the correct slot automatically attaches it to the building's foundation.
Construction progresses in stages, requiring subsequent parts of the structure to be completed in the proper order.
Wall modules are installed first, forming the main structure of the house.
Once the wall assembly is completed, the roof module installation stage becomes available. Completing the installation of both the walls and the roof results in the completion of the modular house.
This system will make you think what resources to save and store! Previously you could just destroy everything in deconstruction contracts but now you will have to think what can handle a quick work and what you will need to do slower to save resources and use for the construction contracts! π§±
Old and New Contracts! π
Alongside new mechanics we are adding more contracts to fit them. With the update you will get a new array of jobs allowing you to become not only a deconstructor but also a builder! However we do not want to completely separate the two aspects of gameplay, we want both to be an intertwined part of the experience. Tune in by following the game on Steam or join us on our Discord to be first one every news! π¨οΈ[ /b] Steam post image
