🏆 A Rewarding Policy

We want you to keep coming back, and the best way to do that is with incentives! Please note that the art shown here is in active development and not representative of the final game.

Each city you build will reward you with delivery of either a letter or package. A package contains a selection of cards for you to choose from, or if you’re feeling daring, skip the choice entirely.

On the other hand a letter will reward you with a brand new policy, which can have a wide range of effects from simple bonuses to conditional actions that may greatly affect your playstyle.

Each mayor also has a starting policy, helping to shape their overall playstyle. For example those who played the demo may know that Grace has the policy "Strong Community". This policy gives you an additional 2 approval each time you grow your community, which helps immensely with hitting those pesky approval targets!

A more generalized policy is "Ace up Your Sleeve", giving you an extra card each turn to get the last combo piece you need.

We aim to include a wide range of cards and policies, the unlocking of which is tied to our engaging challenge system, which we will cover in a future blog post.
