After months of prototyping our second title and somehow keeping it to ourselves we're finally ready to start talking about it! If you've somehow stumbled upon this post without already Wishlisting the game, you can do so here:

Hopefully you know the basics by now, but here's a quick reminder. Decked Out is our brand new Card-Slinging roguelike. You'll need to build a deck from a huge variety of options - discovering synergies, combining them with powerful artifacts and upgrading them with gems.
You'll then use this deck to take down waves of enemies and powerful bosses each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
Each card has its own Mana Cost and unique effect. Both Card Draw and Mana Regeneration both happen over time so ensuring you have the right balance of resources will be key. Fortunately there will be plenty of ways to do that.
A recent addition to the core combat of Decked Out is the Basic Attack system (Talented Gamers might be familiar with this one). During prototyping we found that running out of cards and slowly watching the enemies overun you could be a painful experience.
Basic Attacks mean you will always have chance to fight back, even if you have an empty hand or no Mana remaining. Your Attack Speed, Damage and even what the Basic Attack is can also be modified making it another path to victory.
All of these tools will be necessary to defeat the enemy hordes and protect your town...
...Which is what we'll be talking about in the next Devlog! So until then...
Stay Decked Out
