Death's Toll changes
Today, we bring to you this MASSIVE update for Death's Toll. Many of these features are ones that we've been wanting since before the game's launch... So consider this the TRUE version of Death's Toll! Try it out and have fun- the game is half off right now to celebrate!
ACHIEVEMENTS
Need some extra reason to replay the game? We've added 27 unique achievements to unlock throughout Death's Toll!
PLAYABLE SPECIAL CHARACTERS!
Not only have we added a bunch of new special characters, but you can now play as them whenever you want! They can be purchased as skins from the character select screen.
SAVING YOUR GAME
Sick of having to keep the game open in the background? Now you don't have to do it all in one sitting... set the game aside and take a breather, and you'll be able to load right back where you were after!
SOME NEW ITEMS
Meet Bosh. Bosh the bush. He sells the Voodoo Doll, which creates a perfect clone of you, and the Die of Fate, which will swap your class mid-game!
GAMBLE YOUR WINNINGS AWAY
There's a new slot machine, and it's the perfect oppertunity to take a chance for some extra money! These spawn in certain random events, and you'll also find them in every town!
OTHER HIGHLIGHTS!
Added a new wolf enemy to the snow biome!
There are several brand new text and map events to explore!
When using a Player 2 AI, press T to whistle and call them towards you!
A new Harmonica trinket which fires off music notes whenever you attack!
A new Glowing Beastling Skull trinket which makes beastlings glow in the dark!
A new pocket dragon you can find, and he'll turn ALL coins you find to gold... for a small fee.
There are 3 new ambient music tracks that may play to help fill the silence.
Some new cosmetic options have been added... check them out.

MINOR CHANGES
Added shines to golden trinkets
Selected Preset Loadout now saved when exiting the game
Adjusted visuals of spearman jumping out of tombstone
Added new Ambient Songs that can play during the game
Added pop ups for the Skins Shop, Preset Loadouts, and the Class Shop
Along with ‘Dead Trees’, oak stumps will now spawn in the beginning levels of the snow biome in place of pine trees (off of the same chance as the trees)
Added ‘Whistle’ to call ai partners to you (Hit ‘T’ on the keyboard or ‘x’ (for xbox, other platforms use the ‘x’ equivalent) on controller, and prevents them from rushing in and attacking for ~8 seconds
MAJOR FIXES
Fixed ai getting stuck in attacking animation
Fixed trinkets causing stutters
Fixed a bug that would consume a Trinket Voucher if purchasing a Health Potion
Fixed dialogue getting stuck
Fixed progress.save not saving/loading/converting properly
MINOR FIXES
Fixed a visual bug with picking up money and toll tokens at the same time
When reaching azarel, the game will make the time at sunset if not already
Fixed a visual bug when hovering over an equipped trinket
Fixed a repeating line in the dance ‘competition’ text event
Deer shadow adjusted
Added more loot to ‘grave’ events
Fixed ashen woods embers being misaligned
Fixed bug with Fae-ry
Fixed a visual bug with deleting classes
Fixed Toll Token Glitter sprite not animating
Updated ‘Defense Ambush’ Music
Removed Vending Machine shadow if indoors
Fixed Text Event Ui buttons sfx
Protection Charm works when sleeping
Special skins no longer override the player name in the Character Creator menu
Fixed deer not spawning properly
Fixed various bugs in the character customizer
Loot is now affected by shadows
Changed tip from tip man form ‘mossy graves’ to ‘tombs’
Overworld hunger and thirst popping should be fixed
Fixed visual bug with Character Creator
Fixed a bug where player wouldn’t die if starving in overworld
Reduced dance party win from 67%->33
