Patch 10 is now live for Deathground (Version 0.1.60b)
Hi Operatives, we hope you're all doing well.
Please see the latest patch notes below as we continue to work on the upcoming and major updates. Thanks again for all of your feedback, support and bug-reporting to help this process.
PATCH NOTES: (V 0.1.60b)
⚠ Important: Before launching, please ensure your PC meets the minimum system requirements and that your graphics drivers are fully updated! For reference:
- NVIDIA usersMake sure you have the ‘ NVIDIA app ' installed and that the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver is updated under the drivers tab.
AMD users: Make sure you have the ‘ AMD app ’. It will automatically detect your hardware and guide you through updating to the latest driver version.
Please note: While our team is working to further optimise the game if your system does not meet the minimum requirements, your gameplay experience may not perform as expected.
Highlights and changes
Minor adjustments to ‘healing’ UI effects, to slightly reduce visual presence
Minor adjustments to the character's post-respawn ‘damp’ effect, to reduce duration
Added audio tagging elements to allow for alternate footstep audio when walking over puddles and other surface types
(Developer's Note: that last one was technically introduced during 0.1.58b, but is now working as intended as of 0.1.60b!)
Minor adjustments to when a player is considered ‘hidden’ when entering a hiding space
(Developer's Note: During a previous patch, we fixed an issue that sometimes prevented raptors from correctly spotting players entering hiding spaces. Even though this was technically ‘correct’, it sometimes led to situations where a raptor could spot you even when it felt like you should have been hidden - this change aims to balance this slightly in the players' favour, and we’ll be looking to adjust further based on your feedback)
Bugfixes - General
Fixed an issue where incorrect audio volume collisions would sometimes prevent players from exiting hiding spaces (unless pulled out by a raptor), or make the exit location for hiding spaces smaller than intended
Fixed an issue where incorrect audio volume collisions would sometimes prevent players from interacting with buttons, picking up items, or make the interaction location smaller than intended
Fixed an issue which allowed players to pick up items whilst hiding (Which would sometimes result in items being despawned upon exiting the hiding space)
Fixed where min/max look up/down for the player were not correctly set after initially spawning
Potential fix for an issue which could allow more than 4 players to load into a single lobby
Fixed an issue where point of interest (POI) markers would fail to trigger during mission progression (For both the meat drop-off chute and the first fridge container) during ‘Biomedical - Feeding Frenzy’
Fixed an issue where the bioscanner ‘group-up’ POI marker was not persistent during ‘Biomedical - Feeding Frenzy’
Fixed an issue where procedurally spawned items could not be picked up from some fridges during ‘Biomedical - Feeding Frenzy’
Fixed an issue where the respawn room would not grant the correct number of respawns during the ‘Mission Control - Epoch’ story event
Fixed an issue where the primary respawn room would not grant the correct number of respawns during the ‘Agricultural - Spray the Greenhouse’ mission
Fixed an issue where clone pods in the ‘Bunker’ would not infinitely respawn dead players, meaning players could be stuck in spectator mode
Fixed an issue where the game would not unpause after exiting ‘Mission control - Introduction’ to the main menu
Fixed a crash as reported by players - thank you for spotting this one!
Bugfixes - Dinosaur / AI
Potential fix for an issue which caused raptors to sometimes get stuck in place while roaming
Fixed an issue which unintentionally allowed raptor vent attacks to be interrupted midway
