Patch 9 is OUT NOW for Deathground!

Patch 9 is now live for Deathground (Version 0.1.58b) Hi Operatives, we hope you're all doing well. Please see the latest patch notes below as we continue to work on the upcoming and major updates.

Feedback suggested that players didn't quite understand how this mechanic worked or missed that it was a thing entirely, sprinting over glass without realising it was a hazard that would alert raptors. After some discussion we’ve decided a temporary removal and deeper rework is the best way to resolve these issues in the long term, more news on that soon!)

PATCH NOTES: (V 0.1.58b)

⚠ Important: Before launching, please ensure your PC meets the minimum system requirements and that your graphics drivers are fully updated! For reference:

  • NVIDIA usersMake sure you have the ‘ NVIDIA app ' installed and that the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver is updated under the drivers tab.
  • AMD users: Make sure you have the ‘ AMD app ’. It will automatically detect your hardware and guide you through updating to the latest driver version.

Highlights and changes

  • Glass sound traps removed from all maps temporarily

Bugfixes - General

  • Fixed an issue where some wall collisions were missing during ‘Biomedical - Feeding Frenzy’ which allowed players to escape out of bounds

  • Fixed an issue which caused ‘refrigerator’ containers to go missing during ’Biomedical - Secure The Specimen’

  • Fixed an issue where some ‘refrigerator’ containers could not be interacted with

  • Fixed an issue where supply caches could be opened but not used during ‘Biomedical - Secure The Specimen’

  • Fixed several issues where materials would not render correctly

  • Fixed an issue with extra terrain geometry in ‘Agricultural - Spray The Greenhouse’

Bugfixes - Dinosaur / AI

  • Fixed an issue where navigation could generate incorrectly on top of vent layouts (which could cause issues with Compy navigation and item drop placement)

  • Fixed an issue where raptor leg collisions could interact incorrectly with some audio/gameplay collision volumes
