changedToday, we want to share with you that the development of the first level is one step closer to its completion. We are applying the final touches, meticulously placing props and optimising the performance.

changedAI improvements: Our developers are constantly testing and fine-tuning the intelligence of in-game entities to provide you with a more immersive and challenging experience.
changedUI implementation: The team is moving forward with implementing all the necessary UI for our game, focusing at the moment on the essential in-game screens and menus.
addedAnimations: We are using motion-capture techniques to create exciting custom animations for our in-game characters. A new set of animations is about to be added to our existing set.

First of all, we wanted to start this Dev Blog by thanking all of you for all your comments and support across the different Social Media platforms and for hanging out with us on Discord to share your thoughts about our game. We also really appreciate all the wishlists from you, they make a huge difference!

We are loving this development journey and we are excited to be sharing some insights of what we are cooking behind the scenes.

Today, we want to share with you that the development of the first level is one step closer to its completion. We are applying the final touches, meticulously placing props and optimising the performance.

The time to encounter Jennifer is approaching and, if you stay tuned to our different Socials, you might get to know a bit more about her background story.

But that’s not all!

We are happy to announce that we've officially kicked off the design process for level 2. Our team has created detailed and exciting lore behind it, and we are moving forward with fleshing it out.

As we can’t share many more details on this level yet, we are also providing you a list of updates and improvements we have recently added to the game:

  1. Interaction/Inventory System: The first iteration of our interaction/inventory system has been implemented in the game.

  2. AI improvements: Our developers are constantly testing and fine-tuning the intelligence of in-game entities to provide you with a more immersive and challenging experience.

  3. UI implementation: The team is moving forward with implementing all the necessary UI for our game, focusing at the moment on the essential in-game screens and menus.

  4. AnimationsWe are using motion-capture techniques to create exciting custom animations for our in-game characters. A new set of animations is about to be added to our existing set.
  5. Audio Updates: We are also making strides in audio enhancement. Working on immersive soundscapes and dynamic effects to greatly enhance the audio experience, using FMOD and audio-specific blueprints.

We are looking forward to seeing you jump into our game and we will continue to share updates like this, not only regarding game features but also some future plans and events related to Death Front.
