Repeated intro
Hey everyone, patch 1.03 is delayed. We really did want the patch live before April but some of our content needs more tweaking, refinement and testing. We want to make sure 1.03 is just right - so let’s have a run down of what’s done already in 1.03:
What changed
0 fixes2 additions5 changes0 removals
- Balance
- Events
- UI and audio
- Gameplay
changedAt launch we were too cheap, in 1.02 we were too giving. The economy of 1.03 falls in the middle, so it should be just right.
changedWe’ve been back and forth on the difficulty for ages, our inner masochists want a hardcore challenge but with 1.03 the first half of the game is now sculpted with ‘plenty-o-feedback’. This means it’s not overly hard but it shouldn’t be easy street either.
changedWith a better economy and refined progress you’ll want to experiment with the games many robots and buildings - in 1.03 you can buy anything at any time. Finally, you can put all that money to good use.
changedOne of the regular complaints we’ve had is about the building UI being too far from the action. So we’ve refined the game flow by moving it to strategy camera - you’ll never be hastily stretched again..
addedWe’ve also added the option to toggle on/off all background signs. This means you can remove all that background text as and when you like. Kind of like putting the glasses on or off in the movie “They Live”. Now let’s cover what we’re still to do:
addedComplete and add the new music.
