On April 30th 1978, the movement amassed over 100,000 people in a carnival which marched seven miles from Trafalgar Square to an open-air concert at Victoria Park, in the heart of the National Front stronghold. This event was described as the concert that united a nation.They still continue to campaign for equality today.

Sex Pistol
In the mid 1970s, the band Sex Pistol rose in popularity with their provocation in the music and the release of “Anarchy in the UK”. The band and their music laid the groundwork to bring punk to a global influence.
