addedController SupportThe newly added controller support also supports dual wielding, so if you want to move with your controller but aim with your mouse, you can do that. You can even aim with one controller and move with another! Dead Oculus will simply read the strongest signal of each button for every plugged in controller.
changedController SupportPlease mind these limitations: - Controller binds are not rebindable - Wireless Bluetooth has not yet been tested for DualShock/DualSense controllers* - Dead Oculus does not have Steam controller integration - 3rd party controllers might work, but if it doesn't full conform to DirectInput or XInput, will read random junk inputs (in which case you might want to unplug that controller) - Nintendo Controllers are not supported and will not be registered unless the operating system fails to recognize that that controller is a Nintendo product, in which case Dead Oculus will read junk inputs from that controller - For GX.Games customers: The right thumbstick does not work, as browsers have restrictions on automatically moving the cursor (which is what the right thumbstick does)
changedController SupportThe demo has also been updated, so if you are unsure if your controller will cooperate with Dead Oculus, you can test it in the demo.

Controller Support

Dead Oculus now has controller support for Xbox, PS4/DualShock, and PS5/DualSense controllers!

The newly added controller support also supports dual wielding, so if you want to move with your controller but aim with your mouse, you can do that. You can even aim with one controller and move with another! Dead Oculus will simply read the strongest signal of each button for every plugged in controller.

Please mind these limitations: - Controller binds are not rebindable - Wireless Bluetooth has not yet been tested for DualShock/DualSense controllers* - Dead Oculus does not have Steam controller integration - 3rd party controllers might work, but if it doesn't full conform to DirectInput or XInput, will read random junk inputs (in which case you might want to unplug that controller) - Nintendo Controllers are not supported and will not be registered unless the operating system fails to recognize that that controller is a Nintendo product, in which case Dead Oculus will read junk inputs from that controller - For GX.Games customers: The right thumbstick does not work, as browsers have restrictions on automatically moving the cursor (which is what the right thumbstick does)

The demo has also been updated, so if you are unsure if your controller will cooperate with Dead Oculus, you can test it in the demo.

Fix

  • Fixed a typo where "select ability" was displayed instead of "select boon"
