changedSince our last anniversary, we’ve put out a number of updates. We released our 3rd and final Kingdoms module, finished our hero reworks and overhauled a number of features with two Steadfast Steward updates, released hero origin skins, and expanded modding support to include custom heroes.

addedThere are even a few new things on the horizon. A Nintendo Switch 2 version of Darkest Dungeon II is currently in production. We don’t have a release date to announce at this time, but we hope to be able to share that with you soon. We are also happy to confirm that a new Darkest Dungeon II DLC is in the works. This DLC is currently scheduled for an early 2027 release. More details will be provided later in the year. If you want to help test this upcoming release, you can sign up to do so here: https://darkestdungeon.firstlook.gg Testing is likely to begin late this summer.

Claim your Loop Year achievement!

Be sure to play Darkest Dungeon II on the anniversary of the game’s 1.0 release in order to gain this achievement. Note: Console players can collect their Loop Year achievements in July.
