Dark Roll changes
I have some exciting news for you people! A big update is coming. For a while, I've been working on a new game mode for Dark Roll. It's called Endless Roll and it's innovative enough that I believe it would even work well as a game on its own. But that's not all I'm getting ready for you. So what will the near future bring for Dark Roll?
Endless Roll Mode
What is it about? Do you know this genre of endless runner games, that are popular on the mobile market nowadays? It's similar. Last as long as you can, get as far as possible. The road behind you crumbles... There's a huge fire portal before you and it moves forward... But get too close, and it will consume you. The longer you last, the faster you'll have to roll. The road will become more dangerous as well.
Procedural Generation The road you roll through is procedurally generated. It means that each time you start over, the path will be different.
Steam Leaderboards Your score will increase by 1 every second you last. Occasionally, you'll encounter gems. Collecting one will increase your score by 5. Alas, you'll have to assess the risk correctly, as it's sometimes really easy to fall off trying to get a gem. When you die, your score will be uploaded to Steam Leaderboards, so you can see how well you did compared to other people. Yay for competition!
When is the update coming out? I can't tell a specific date yet. But hopefully, sometime in February.

Unlockable Skins
Besides a completely new game mode, new skins are coming along with the update! However they won't be available from the start. You'll have to unlock them.
New Achievements
With Endless Runner mode, there will be new achievements coming to the game.
Baby Game Difficulty
Did you find Dark Roll enjoyable, but too difficult? There'll be a Baby Mode implemented. A difficulty setting, that makes the game a bit easier for the player. However, not all achievements will be available while Baby Mode is turned on.
