Please skip 3-4 paragraphs. This top part is self indulgent nonsense.
I’ll get to the article in a minute. But now I’m thinking about eggs Remember the phases of eggs? Like you only liked them scrambled probably. Then you got older and you felt really sophisticated to order them some other way like sunny side up or over easy or JUEVOS rrrrancheros.
And sometimes you just had to pretend like. Yes. Of course. I have them all the time like this... Lies. And then maybe a waitress asked you “do you want the edges crispy?” And you thought. “Why yes. Fine lady, I DO like those delicious lacy brown edges.”
And then you learned to make them at home. And you F’d it up but they still tasted ok? I mean granted you struggled with that little slick snotty sack around the yolk🍳, But you learned to deal with it any number of ways. (Just poke that thing. Gently. But pop it.)
And then one time you saw Jose Andres make those cloud eggs and you thoroughly “oiled” a portion of your kitchen, No? Just me? Ok.
Anyway. Eggs.🪺
Welcome to the article those of you who have more valuable things to do with your time. You missed a comparative reminiscence about growing up and forming opinions as told through the lens of a protein rich ovum.

But making games is wierd!(yeah, I know. On purpose) You may be a casual game player, —but if you are reading a random ass article in a niche game sector on a MORE THAN niche game with not much to say but bigger ambitions. You are probably not TOO casual tbh.
In order to have lore. You have to have the game. And in order to have lore you have to have someone that cares about the game. And to have that the game has to be good. And if the audience comes, but the lore is not there yet, they leave. But for every minute you spend on lore, you spend less time on making the game good. Or (...continued in next paragraph)
You spend less time on making friends. In the industry and the world. And that requires like. Ick. Social media vocalizations. “ Look at me! Look here! ” Or physical events which these days are few and far between. Plus our team is spread from the US to South America to Europe so we’re not doing much mingling as a unit.
This is all to say that it’s hard to have big ambitions and a small team and finite time and technology that is el paino in the asso to work with. (Do not get me started on the Apple Vision)
And it’s
