Dark Laws changes
We’re excited to share the latest updates on Dark Laws Playtest after some fantastic player feedback! This playtest patch introduces major new features that make exploring Telos Island even more fun and accessible.
Here’s what’s new:
Loading Screens: Mostly visual improvements to make transitions between menus and game loading more understandable.
- Visual Bug FixesSeveral visual issues have been resolved for a cleaner experience.
Extraction Portals: These portals let you safely save your inventory before exiting the game, so the next time you join, you’ll still have your items.
- Simplified Multiplayer (Host / Clients)You can now explore Telos Island with friends! Multiplayer is simplified, with one host and any connected clients—perfect for co-op exploration.
Respawns: The game loop now allows respawns instead of permadeath, this will be a playtest exclusive feature.
As always, you can roam freely, collect loot, experiment with abilities, and maybe even discover new areas.

WASD – Move
Shift – Run
Ctrl – Crouch
Left Mouse Button – Melee Light Attack (if held causes combo chain)
Right Mouse Button – Heavy Attack
F – Shield
Q – Magic
X - Roll
Space - Jump
E – Pick Up Loot / Use Linked or Extraction Portal
Tab – Inventory (drag and drop items)
H – Call Dragon (Dragon Horn)
Alt+F4 – Exit Game
This is still an early playtest, so expect some bugs and quirks. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us shape the full game.
