Danmo Three Kingdoms: Battle of Wits changes
The flames of war continue to burn, and the sandbox board awaits your command. Thank you for your continued support and companionship! To welcome more new Lords to join the battle for hegemony, the game is currently on a limited-time sale with an exclusive 20% discount! We welcome you to recommend the game to friends who love strategic tabletop combat and team up for multiplayer matches.
Alongside this special offer, we are bringing you a packed new update! This patch not only introduces the Battle Report feature but also significantly expands the beginner experience and custom rules, making your strategic journey smoother and more flexible.
Details are as follows:
⚔️ [New Gameplay & Mechanics]
- New Training ModeTutorial stages designed specifically for new Lords are now live. Clear this mode to receive 15 Famous Generals for free, helping you through the early game! Veteran players can also choose to convert these generals into corresponding Reputation points upon clearing, ensuring everyone gets rewarded.
New Battle Report Feature: Implemented a battle report system, allowing Lords to review past campaign records, analyze the flow of the battle, and check combat details at any time.
- New Victory ConditionAdded the ultimate hegemony victory goal: "Eliminate all factions other than your own," satisfying your ambition to conquer the entire realm.
Multiple AI Difficulty Levels: Refined the intelligence and difficulty of computer AI into more detailed tiers. Lords can now select opponents that best match their tactical skill level.
- Level Up with ReputationAdded a new progression path. Lords can now directly spend "Reputation" to upgrade the levels of their Heroes/Generals, accelerating the growth of your core forces.
⚙️ [Campaign & Multiplayer Settings]
- Unlimited Multiplayer TimeOfficially added the "Unlimited" option to the time limit settings in Multiplayer mode, allowing for deep, unhurried tactical matches with friends.
- Custom Campaign RulesAdded a "Respawn Cost" option in Campaign settings, giving Lords more freedom to manage resources and general revival strategies.
- New Rule TooltipsAdded "?" tooltip buttons next to various options in the Campaign settings. Hover over them to read detailed explanations of the rules and mechanics.
Settings Interface Optimization: Overhauled the layout and interaction flow of the "Multiplayer Settings" and "Campaign Settings" menus for a more intuitive experience.
🎨 [Visuals & Interface Adjustments]
Dynamic Diaochan: Implemented dynamic visual effects (Live2D/Animated Portrait) for Diaochan, bringing the peerless beauty to life.
World Map Optimization: Optimized the visual presentation of the massive combat map, improving the clarity of the battlefield situation.
- Biography Interface AdjustmentAdjusted and optimized the layout and information display in the General Biographies menu.
🛠️ [Bug Fixes]
- Upgrade Exploit FixFixed an issue where reloading an old save file could abnormally trigger a "Re-upgrade."
- UI Overflow FixFixed an issue in the split-troops menu where displaying 10 units caused the list to overflow the UI boundaries (now adjusted to display a maximum of 8 units to fit the frame).
- Alliance Logic FixFixed a mechanic anomaly where triggering "Vertical and Horizontal Alliances" under specific circumstances would incorrectly result in forming alliances with 2 different coalitions simultaneously.
