Repeated intro
Hey there everyone, as we close in on the full official release for DAMN! Nation and exit Early Access, we’re preparing to gear up and shift some of our focus and resources over to the main event — Demons Ate My Neighbors!, AKA DAMN!

Upcoming Community Address
With us beginning to refocus on Demons Ate My Neighbors!, it's important for us to be transparent to the community. A lot has happened behind the scenes, and now that legalities have cleared up, we want to tell our story. The story of DAMN!, how it was created as an idea, how it was (almost) destroyed by Covid 19, and how after 6 more years of industry experience, the returning members are ready to bring the game to life once again. We know DAMN! Nation was not the game you were waiting for, but as you'll learn in this upcoming Community Address, the source code for DAMN! '21 was sadly lost in the sands of time. The Nation Deal vitally allowed us to begin work for DAMN! PC, by letting us properly create code for Characters, Enemies, Mechanics, and even 85 brand-new items, all relatively without worry. Serving as a massive boost in our journey to create Demons Ate My Neighbors!
In this addressment we'll be discussing all that, and the future, in both text and video format. Because we feel like you all deserve to know, and we really want you to understand that we want this game just as much as you do, and we appreciate you all staying here as long as you have.
It's on our minds!
Currently, we're working to determine the future of DAMN! Such as what we're carrying over from Nation, what we're preserving from DAMN! '19-'21, and what we're planning for the 2025 Demo, and future release. (Elaborated below)
DAMN! PC vs DAMN! Nation
Although it may be obvious, we want to absolutely set the record straight, and remind you all that DAMN! PC and DAMN! Nation are built for entirely different platforms, and thus will NOT share the following features seen in Nation.
Ads
Any form of Web3 or Crypto integration
Microtransactions
An energy system
Autoshooter gameplay
With the creation of Nation though, many things introduced in it were always intended to appear in DAMN! PC, so whilst we had a paid budget, we made sure to create them!
VH$ and the VH$Ending Machine
Perma-Pops!
All Enemies (Zombos, Bats, Vampunks, Zaplings, Tarmen, and Ohmlings.)
Sheriff Pickens and The Ice Cream Man Bosses (Since Nation is a prequel and Joey will be playable in DAMN! PC, he can't be a boss in PC. We may find a way to preserve his boss behavior though.)
All Citizens and Tuned Out Citizens! (Sergeant Sally, Gigi & Maurice, Margot Rita, Cheerleader Girl, and Father Romero.)
All 85 Items (15 Actives, 11 Nozzles, and 55 Passives!)
Romero Residences, both the outside streets and inside houses. Alongside Crystal Lake Mall. (Crystal Lake Mall actually had no graphics prior to Nation).
All music tracks heard in Nation!
and just to be clear... DAMN! PC will be a TWIN STICK SHOOTER and have 2 PLAYER COOP
You're involved in our future!
We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. Literally. You may have noticed that our original Discord Server has been removed, this was due to an unfortunate hack we suffered, but we've gotten control back, and we'd greatly appreciate you rejoining so you can
