What changed
- UI and audio
- Gameplay
Daemon is a short, atmospheric action RPG built around interpretation, memory, and deliberate pacing — which makes language clarity especially important.
I’ve now completed localization for the following languages:
Spanish
Simplified Chinese
Traditional Chinese
Japanese
Russian
These languages are supported in both the full game and the Steam demo.
Because Daemon relies more on mood and environmental storytelling than direct exposition, localization is treated as part of the core experience rather than a post-release extra. The goal is to let players engage with the game’s world comfortably, without friction getting in the way of discovery.
This update is part of a broader focus on polish and player respect — including small but meaningful features added through playtesting, such as camera inversion and early options support.
If you’re curious about Daemon’s tone and structure, the Steam demo lets you experience an early slice without spoilers. As always, thank you for the feedback and support so far.
