For years, we wondered how to make our dream game — where you build a neon-drenched city and bring it to life piece-by-piece, from the first person perspective.

It wasn’t until the rise of automation and base building games like Subnautica, Planet Crafter, and Satisfactory that we realized how we could make it possible: with deep crafting loops and unleashing player expression.

Do you want to playtest Cyberpunk Crafter before it's demo release? You’ll be able to:

  • Build and own venues ranging from ramen stalls and junk shops to VR clubs and cybernetic clinics.

  • Stock shelves and run services that attract different citizens and keep them satisfied.

  • Help citizens move in —Gutterpunks crashing in sleep pods, Wireborn shaping realspace from cyberspace, and many more.

  • Earn ingredients from your venues to fuel deeper crafting and automation loops.

  • Unlock research with idle stat bonuses earning blueprints passively from venues you operate.

  • Grow your city’s population and balance citizen satisfaction to unlock greater features.

  • Automate your economy by linking venues, needs, and workers together into a living system.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll share more about how these systems tie together and why we think fans of survival-crafting and automation games will love it.

We'll share a few posts diving into progression and crafting loops, and see if there's enough interest for a play test, which would be available for sign-up right here on Steam in the near future.
