We have been making a lot of progress and are getting close to releasing to early access. We are shooting for June after the Steam Game Festival. We plan on having a full 32 levels in place for early access so it will be plenty of content to dive into. We also added a hard mode for levels 9+. We have added so much, an intro level, void levels which are like jumping/climbing puzzles to give player a variety from the standard game play and inject a little more story. We have 21 levels built and the first 16 heavily balanced and tested, including hard modes.
We have many ways of winning and earning stars for all the levels as well. 100% wins get you full points for purchasing weapons/turrets and a gold star. If you mainframe takes damage, you don't get the gold star and only half the points, so it encourages you to try harder and has a lot of replayability. And of course if you lose, you lose some of those hard earned points. Most of the levels are randomized too, so outcomes will be different each time but some large attacks will be scripted so you can plan your turrets next time. Hardmode only rewards for 100% wins and offers more points for purchasing weapons/turrets.
This will really be the first true tower defense shooter for VR where you are right in the middle of the action with full 6DOF movements, shooting and strategy.

Void level 21 finished.
