Gameplay
addedMapsWe designed 3 new types of biomes giving some much need variety to the maps beyond just grass/forest and water. We’ve added a snowy mountain biome, a fiery volcano biome and a foggy swamp biome with new models and textures.Theres 1-2 maps of each biome for now, but this will allow us to make much more interesting maps going forward.
addedGame Board and Cinematic IntroTo create a bit more context around the setting, we’ve placed the maps on top of a game board and table which will fade away as the match starts. Matches now start with a cinematic camera fly-in as the game board comes to life. During a match, The game board and its background elements can be enabled for a surreal board game feeling or hidden for a cleaner less distracting aesthetic.
addedBug Reporting and Feedback SystemWe now have an in-game system to collect bug reports and feedback. Anytime someone wants to say something to the developers while playing they can click the bug report/feedback button and type out a message. The message appears on our public discord along with a screenshot and system info. We tend to discuss whatever comes up and take under serious consideration anything that our players want to tell us. We hope this system will allow us to cater to our players’ needs with pinpoint accuracy and provide the best quality assurance possible.
addedAll professions available in the demoBecause we want players to see more of what the game has to offer, we have enabled all currently playable professions in the demo for character select. This is temporary and will be retracted a little bit as we roll out multiplayer features and get closer to early access.
addedCastle Bridge MapWe’ve added a new map called Castle Bridge which is a very small map with marching minions in a single lane, but also flanking paths on both sides. Use the terrain to your advantage by pushing people off of the path or leaping up to the overlook points.
